Japanese-American composer Tyler Ono specializes in various musical fields to create more extraordinary experiences. Born and raised in Hawai'i, Tyler grew up in a melting pot of mixed cultures that influenced his interest in fusing music with other art forms. His diverse musical palette earned him credibility in concert music, film scoring, game scoring, producing, and mix engineering. Tyler recently composed music for an animation by Jewel Racasa that won an award for best animation at the Paris International Film Awards.
Tyler studied at the University of Hawai’i Manoa where he received his BM in music composition and has recently finished his Masters in composition at The Chicago College of Performing Arts in Chicago. Tyler is currently studying under composer Daron Hagen and arranging music for the University of Hawai’i Marching Band.
